Mia has decided she won't fall asleep in her bed. We let her make up a bed in the hall so she doesn't come tell us she doesn't want to sleep in her bed 10 times before finally falling asleep. I'm hoping this is just a phase and doesn't turn out to be a 15 year habit like her Uncle Griffin! Mark laid down to cuddle and fell asleep himself. Meanwhile, this crazy one was wide awake singing her little heart out.
It was our anniversary last Saturday so we kicked off the day with a trip to our favorite donut shop, YoYo. We let Mia hold the box on our way to Bedstes. BAD IDEA! She opened the box upside down and covered herself in sprinkles.
Sunday was a scorcher so we got out the pool to cool down. More pictures to come later.
Check out Madi chillin' in the shade and avoiding the water torture of Mia.
You could print off this picture and put it in my baby book without anyone questioning it. There is no doubt this girl belongs to me!
The doorway jumper is a huge hit. Lily will bounce and spin for a good 30 minutes then is wiped out!
Mia dressed herself for school. What you can't see is that the bloomers were too big and falling off her backside. The shirt is too small and barely covers her belly. It wasn't worth a battle!
After Monday night dinner, the fam went for a walk. Check out Mia's style. Again, I just let her be! Her Uncle Graham his own style too.
Mia loved "driving" Tia's convertible.
Mia has a potty watch that she hates wearing on her wrist. She has decided her ankle is a better spot for it. I keep cracking jokes about our little Lindsey Lohan. But it's working for the potty training battle so the jokes will continue until we get one child out of diapers!!
She was super pumped to hang out with Tia Bri for the morning. Check out Bri's blog, Gritty Gems, for more pictures of their fashion training time together. Those two have an amazingly special relationship!!
I went to pick up Lily from my grandparents house and found this scene. Grandpa was chatting away with his great granddaughter. My heart melted!!
Mia couldn't just swing by and pick up Lily, she needed some time with her greats too.
Lily was playing rolly polly on their floor. She was also sharing her lunch with the carpet. There was a wet spot when I picked her up. Yuck!
After Mark got home from work we hit up Costco. What a perfect way to wear out a two year old. We let her walk up and down EVERY aisle and she was exhausted!
