Mark’s parents came for a visit last weekend. Grandma got in just in time for a book before bed.
Mia wanted to fall asleep with Grandma but was having troubles keeping her eyes closed.
In the morning, Uncle Will and Lillian got to meet for the first time.
Mark had to stand guard during a parade later in the day so we decided to keep him company. Can you see Mark in his uniform? Mia loved the bubbles while waiting for the parade.

Lily’s eyes got pretty heavy. It was naptime for this munchkin.
The parade kicked off with a fire truck sounding it’s siren. Mia hated it!!
Thank goodness Grandpa suggested she cover her ears. I would have hated to have a meltdown when the fun was just starting.
Mia felt even better watching the fire truck from the safety of the path just a few feet from the street.
The local health clinic was handing out temporary tattoos. I thought Mia would think these were fun until I saw the logo. Who puts a urine sample and a shot on a tattoo?!?! No tattoos for Mia!
Lily gave in to her heavy eyes.
Mia asked to go see Daddy a few times. She even asked for a picture with him. How cute!!
We had to pack up fast when it started to rain. You can’t see the full length of our land yacht but you can get an idea of the operation we had. We even loaded up Madison when she wouldn’t cooperate on our way to the car.
The parade successfully wore out the little one. She took a nice long afternoon nap!
