September has come to a close.

We had a rough few weeks when Mia had a fever thanks to teething followed by a horrible diaper rash. She had to stay home from school the days she had the fever and this was our little munchkin about 22 of the 24 hours of the day. Poor thing!
Once she recovered, she was back at helping Dad around the house. It amazes us how the summer has transformed her into a little person. She can fairly accurately convey her wishes to us, although you may not hear the word we know she is saying, we know what she is saying. And love it! She is a little sponge for knowledge and wants to do everything we do like...
giving Madi a bath...
put her baby in her carseat...
(it was in our living room thanks to a piece of pizza that didn't sit well with her belly)
eating cereal, she can say cherrio...
and putting on chapstick, we had her believing you didn't open chapstick then Bedste came over for an afternoon, now she asks you to open it for her.
Mia's favorite thing to do these days is color.
Check out that just woke up from my nap hair.
Mark taught her how to "trace" her hand. Watching the level of concentration cracks me up every time.
 Tracing Dad's hand.

We finished off the month with a bike ride to break in the new bike trailer. A generous friend insisted we get rid of the seat on our tandem and put Mia in a safer option and so it was given to us. WOW!
Mia, being her curious self, couldn't leave Dad or the bike alone.
This gift also meant we could bring our other "baby" along for the ride.
The two buds LOVED it!!!
I leave you with a shot of my growing 15 week belly and the fun news that I felt the baby this afternoon. Our little bean is growing like crazy!
