Our Christmas celebration continued into the following week with Mark's parents. They gave us a wonderful Christmas gift of babysitting for a few days since Mia didn't have daycare. Thank you Grandma & Grandpa!

Mia got her first set of Legos and was IN LOVE!!!
(Mark also had googly eyes watching his little one start down the road to a career in engineering!)
Breakfast and alphabet cards with Grandpa.
Mark with his girls...Mia, Madi and Madeline. Mia has gotten to the stage of wanting to bring a doll or blanket when she heads out the door.
Worn out after a morning of errands before our New Year's Eve dinner.
Helping Bedste feed the dogs.
Checking herself out in the window behind the sink...her new favorite way to bathe.
On New Year's Day, we met Owen and my cousin, Sara, at the coolest indoor park ever.
These two little ones were over the moon.
Loving the parallel play.
After our trip to the park, we went to my aunt and uncle's house for a Rose Bowl SHOWDOWN!
Sara and her husband, Chad, are TCU Alumni. And of course, Mark and I proudly cheer for the Badgers. There was a little bit of smack talking, more from the little one's. Owen loves saying, "TCU." Mia started repeating him and I "firmly" reminded her that combination of letters was not allowed in our house which cause an eruption of laughter. All and all it was a great game. Although we lost, we were really proud of our Badger boys!
My grandma brought the wishbone.
Resting up before the big game.
Warming up the badger hood.
Practicing our "W" before kickoff.
The park fun finally set in for the climbers.
Despite their differences in teams, they played together really well. It was fun to see these little ones, just three weeks apart in age but miles apart in distance, enjoy each other's company.
Paper Toss on the phone...Mia was too cute saying," Mia's turn, Owen's turn."
Enjoying a RED cookie!
Sara and I had to get our belly picture and the little one's wanted in on the fun.
Pregnant together again...five weeks difference.
The little badger coming in March and the baby girl horned frog due in April!
Just think, next time we are together there will be two more...YIKES!!!

Great photos! It's fun to have a preggo buddy, isn't it? You're always guaranteed to have someone to talk to who knows exactly how you feel and your kids will be great play buddies. Happy New Year!!
