We had the opportunity to take a road trip to Kansas City to visit some of my family, the women of the family actually, for my cousin Kalli's baby shower. It was a quick trip but wonderful to catch up. We are so excited for sweet Lucy to join the ranks of the great grandbabies in our family!!! Even though we don't get to meet Lucy for another few months, Mia still got some good play time with Mr. B!
The double stroller made a walk much more fun!
It was their neighborhood garage sale that weekend and, of course, Miss Mia got in on the action.

Here comes the sickness part...
Here's the sickness part. This is my baby after her morning "nap". She woke up at 6am then went back to sleep at 7:30 for another 3 hours. How cute is that sick face?
In the afternoon, after being cooped up and Mom going crazy, we headed outside to wait for Dad to get home.
Don't you love those blue eyes and strawberry blond curls? I sure do!!
There was a caterpillar who got to the slide before us. Mia was so polite and let him have his turn before she made her way up the stairs. It took a while. Then Dad came home!
I know Mia and Madi are blurry in this picture but I love that my three loves are all smiling. Look at Mark's face...priceless!
Those blue eyes again...I just melt!
We were on the flight path this afternoon which made for some great airplane watching.
Can't you hear her saying, "Mom did you see that one?"
She found the slide again after all the distractions. The caterpillar found his way back to the grass by the time we returned. The slide is thanks to Bedste and Uncle Graham's attic clean out two weekends ago. This was one of the many treasures they found up there!!!
