Los Angeles

Nothing like a family wedding for a great vacation. My cousin Jeff got married to his beautiful wife Amanda in Westlake Village, just outside of Los Angeles so we took some time before and after the wedding to be typical tourists. It was a wonderful time and a beautiful wedding!!!Here is great grandpa Bob and my mom's cousin Linda. It seems Amelia did something cute. Big surprise!

Amelia spent the wedding in the cry room with a baby sitter, not because she was crying but because she likes to share her own opinions about the message and she is pretty loud with those opinions. So when we got to the cocktail hour she was worn out. She had "talked" the baby sitter's ear off.

Mark has been looking forward to this dance since the day Amelia was born. The two of them have been practicing on a regular basis. He practically jumped when they invited all fathers and daughters on the dance floor.

And back to sleep after all the dancing.

Dipping her feet in the Pacific Ocean. Our little traveler had her feet in both oceans just a few weeks apart. Check out her face...she prefers the warmth of the Atlantic over the chilly waters of the Pacific.

We took the tour at Universal Studios and Amelia was really bored and really hot.

What I didn't capture on film was the slow removal of Amelia's clothing during the tour. It was miserably hot and she was overheated so we covered her car seat and put a wet paper towel on her head. I knew she was hot because she just left the towel and relaxed in the shade.

Next we visited Rodeo Drive and were really "trailer trashing" it. It was still really hot so we left Amelia in just her diaper for our trip down the nicest street in America. Needless to say, we stayed out of the stores.

Headed home...
It is safe to say we wore her out. She slept almost the whole plane ride, then slept the whole night. And most of the next day.
