Phone Picture Sunday

Family sleepover in the living room. This is one of my favorite things in life!!

Mia decided the concrete steps seemed like a nice place to sleep off her dinner.

Mr. Eli came to play with us for the evening. Mia took full advantage of someone who will read all the pages of not one bedtime story but three. The girl was so happy!!

I went to do some Mia snuggling and found this when I returned. It seems to me that the request for more Legos by Mia may have been encouraged by her daddy!

I love this new version of the Lily smile.

On this beautiful Monday evening, we went for a walk to McDonalds for some milkshakes. In an attempt to avoid our the park, we took a new route and stumbled upon a different park. By the time we realized it, Mia had already spotted the slides and we had to make a stop. The nice thing about our new discovery is that we had the place all to ourselves. Mia broke in the swing.

Then we thought Lily might want to join the fun. This was her first time in a swing and she was in love. The back and forth made her laugh and her little smile didn't ever leave her face. The combination of the girls kept them swinging with little help from us. It was a nice treat to sit back and watch them happy together.

Capturing two little ones in the swing proved to be a difficult task.

Check out our little dare devil. She loves to climb the twisted ladders to get to the tall slides.

Then she cruises down the slide and starts the process all over again.

What I didn't capture was the horrible meltdown by our terrible two year old that ensure all five blocks of the walk home. Mia didn't want to leave and made that clear to her parents and the entire neighborhood.

We had a little four generation shopping trip on Friday afternoon. My sister got a new car making it possible for all of us to ride together. What a treat!

Mia picked out a pair all by herself. The girl is learning quickly what it means to shop!

Our little Lillian is on the move. She can cruise backwards and manages to get where she wants to be by turning on her belly and scooting backwards. After I took this picture, she got herself wedged under the couch. We laughed, took some more pictures then rescued her.
