Father's Day was awesome! We walked in the Greenway Gridiron Gallop, had some Sebastian Joe's ice cream (for brunch), took a nap and hung out at my aunt and uncle's farm.
Mia can say grandpa. It sounds like "bumpa" or "rumpa" depending on her level of focus. It just melts my heart when she sees him, puts her arms up and says his name!
Two kinds of trouble here.
Mia is also starting to say G.G. (what my Grandma wants Mia to call her, for Great Grandma) but it comes out as "igi" with lots of spit flying. Oh well!
It was like our own little petting zoo. Evie and Edi were the little kids (baby goats) born just 5 days before. They were so sweet and put up with Mia's pestering. She was fascinated with them.
Hugs were flowing, even for the goats.
Even Grandpa got in on the goat snuggles.
Mia is learning about eyes, ears, mouths and noses. She loved telling us what the goats had on their faces until she got to the ears and was really confused.
Meeting the horses (with a death grip on Bedste's arm)
"These goats look like more fun than the horses."
"Want me to come play with you?"
"Here Bedste, this is how we get in to play with the goats."
"Never mind, I'd rather be behind the gate again."
Doesn't she just look like she belongs on the farm with those crazy curls and cuffed shorts...
and dirty face!
