Weekend in Madtown

We spent the weekend in Madison to visit friends and let Grandma and Grandpa get some much needed Mia time. And Grandma had a motive...to teach Mia to walk or at least get closer. She dug out Uncle William's block cart and Amelia loved walking around with it. The cart became the focus of the weekend.
Mia also had to test out the climbing tree...she has a ways to go so Dad gave her a lift.

More cart time...this time she climbed in the cart to get to the blocks.

Another new favorite is a shoulder ride. I think she also enjoyed the funny feeling of Grandpa's head! It's totally different from Dad.

Amelia love the makeshift drum set Grandma made. Who knew that tupperware and mixing spoons could entertain her for so long...and who doesn't love the tupperware hat?!?!

Grandpa and Amelia were waiting for Grandma to come home after Bible study.

Good thing I don't have to discipline yet...how could I ever punish this face?

Amelia thinks the best thing about Grandma and Grandpa's house is that she gets to do whatever she likes...like chew on Grandma's new dining room chairs.
