We kicked off the festivities with some gingerbread house decorating. Mia was very focused on getting her gingerbread house just right. First she sorted all her decorating options in to bowls then she instructed Aunt Kathryn on where to put the frosting for her chosen candies.
The decorating wore out our little badger who found a nice spot in Grandma's arms.
Check out these cool cats.
Lily was living the high life getting pushed around by Grandpa.
Naptime was long and cozy every day thanks to fresh hands and minds to keep our little ones busy.
Our little badger didn't survive to the end of Horton Hears a Who (her momma didn't either but there is no need to share the horrible picture Mark took of me snoozing away).
On Friday we over-bundled for the 50 degree Christmas tree hunt. Lily didn't mind her ride.
Dad and his girls. This is one of the few pictures we got without a two year old pout. Sadly, Mia wasn't a fan of the Christmas tree excursion and only wanted to be carried by Mom while she fake cried in my ear.
Finally a family picture that is halfway decent!!!
Mia was skeptical about the whole you-cut-down-your-own-tree aspect of the trip.
Check out the pout on this one.
The other frustrating part of the tree trip was our crazy dog Madi. She feels the need to walk in circles around me and only me leaving this mess for a good part of the walk until we free her from the leash.
"Supervising" the process of getting the tree into the house.
Helping Grandma decorate the tree.
Bath time before we packed up and drove home.
Lily thinks she has figured out how to get cheerios out of her snack trap. She puts her whole fist into the cup then shakes it while cheerios rain around her leaving us with this mess to clean up! But it sure beats a crying child for the last 30 minutes of the drive.

Oh Madi!
Great Memories! Now I just need to figure out how to get my pictures uploaded from our camera!
